Transitioning entertainment

An experienced actor, writer, and producer, Scott Turner Schofield brings a unique blend of expertise to the entertainment space. Collaboration is at the heart of this work:

“I bring my expertise as a subject matter expert, as someone who deeply understands the world into which your work will be presented, while holding a deep respect for the expertise and creative authority of each artist with whom I work. I don’t tell you what to do. My goal is to help you execute your intention: to tell your best story. I help you avoid common mistakes; create provocative narratives and compelling characters; make your set a safe space; and earn a positive response from your audience.”

Scott has acted in regional and national theatre productions, in multi-million dollar feature films, and in film, TV and streaming productions ranging from no-budget indies to Daytime Drama institutions. He is an award-winning writer, and has coached scores of playwrights and screenwriters. He has trained with and been a trainer for Intimacy Coordinators in the development of their new key role in production. He trained hundreds of IATSE crew members in Hollywood on transgender competency, and helped changed the non-discrimination policy for one of that Union’s largest jurisdictions. He has served as an artistic director, has produced live performance festivals, and has consulted in production for major network series and big budget films.

Media training includes situational awareness, as well as how to frame and express your message with the sensitivity and vocabulary expected by the community.

Clients include: T.S. Madison; Sara and Parker Cunningham, FREE MOM HUGS; Hunter Schaefer and Sam Levinson, Euphoria; Skylar Jay, Queer Eye.
